CrystalClear SapHGuard - pH Buffer

CrystalClear SapHGuard, when used as directed, will stabilize pond water pH and maintain buffering capacity at safe levels (between 80-240 ppm).  SapHGuard will help prevent wide pH swings, which are typical from morning to night.

SapHGuard makes pond water safe for fish and plants and helps keep water quality problems from arising in the hot summer months.  Keeping a properly buffered system is essential for the completion of the nitrification process which allows harmful ammonia to be converted to nitrite and then to nitrate.

SapHGuard is safe for use with fish, plants, birds or domestic animals that drink from the pond.

Application Rates:

• 1/2 Cup - Treats 1,000 Gallons
• 1 Cup - Treats 2,000 Gallons
• 2 Cups - Treats 4,000 Gallons
• 4 Cups - Treats 8,000 Gallons

Routine Application Rate:  Apply SapHGuard once a week.

Persistent Problem Application Rate:  For persistent pH problems, apply SapHGuard up to every 3 days at the prescribed rate per gallon above until pH levels come into safe range (6.5-8.0).
