2" Vacuum Bottom Drain
The Tetra 2" Vacuum Bottom Drain is used for adding a bottom drain to an
existing pond. This bottom drain lays on top of the liner and attaches to a
2" PVC pipe.
This portable bottom drain is designed for use in most water gardens and
fish ponds. Excavation of the pond bottom or draining the pond water is not
necessary for installation. When correctly installed, the drain sits level
on the pond bottom. |

The Tetra 2" Vacuum Bottom Drain is used for adding a bottom drain to an

This portable bottom drain is designed for use in most water gardens and
fish ponds. Excavation of the pond bottom or draining the pond water is not
necessary for installation. When correctly installed, the drain sits level
on the pond bottom.
Parts Included:
- Drain Dome w/plug
- 2" ABS Elbow
Tools and Materials Needed for Installation:
- 2" ABS or PVC Pipe --- amount determined by pond size & configuration.
Using less than 2" I.D. will restrict flow from drain. However, smaller
diameter pipe can be used on pump end. 2" I.D. swimming pool flex hose may
be used instead of rigid pipe if properly anchored to prevent floating. If
using flex hose, a special cement must be used to connect ABS pipe.
- 2" ABS or PVC Elbows --- type and number determined by pond
configuration.
